Buck Lake is located in South Frontenac township just 38 km North of Kingston, Ontario, Canada off the 401 and just 26 km South of Westport, Ontario off County Road 10 (or Perth Road).
*Buck Lake is known for its beauty and has a number of mid lake islands with rocky shorelines and quick drop offs, mainland and island points, rock piles and shoals.
Buck Lake is formed in the shape of a capital H with a small culvert attaching the North and the South branches of the lake.
A public boat launch is located at the culvert along County Road 10 that connects the 2 branches.
The major fish species include large and small mouth bass, lake trout, northern pike, black crappie, perch and bluegill.
Buck Lake's North branch backs on to Frontenac Park Provincial Park.
